Alison Shelton began her teaching career in 1996 at C.M. Pitts Elementary School. After two years as a first grade teacher, she transitioned to Sarah Smith Elementary School where she taught for six years and then became the Instructional Liaison Specialist. After finishing the APS leadership program, Alison became the principal of Centennial Place Elementary where she has loved providing quality instructional leadership since 2004.
