Celebrating twenty-two years working with children, and fourteen years in education, Nicole Ford has touched the lives of students through educational and enrichment activities. As a social worker, she experienced the importance of empowering families to meet their basic needs. After receiving certification via the Test Out method in 2005, she invested in the empowerment of students to have a greater impact on society. Honored as Teacher of the Year in two different school systems, she has had the pleasure of chairing and serving on various committees such as, Safety Patrol, Sharing Jaguars, Junior Beta Club, Drama Club, Be-You-tiful Poet Society, Graceful Doves Dance Troup, PTA Vice President, and Teacher Advisory Council. Upon her fourth year at Feldwood Elementary, she eagerly accepted the position as the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM)Coordinator, and continues to serve and spearhead many enrichment activities to further impact the lives of students outside of the classroom. Additionally, she humbly serves as the STEM Ambassador Program Founder and Chair, STEManities Summer Bridge Program Committee Chair, STEAM Club Sponsor, STEAM Fair Chair, New Teacher Mentor, and P.E.A.R.L.S. Mentor and Sponsor.
